A strange creature, body built from tentacles and eyes, burst its way into an underground room. Inside, it found the bodies of just over one hundred humans broken and bleeding on the floor.«Ha! Hahaha!» Odd laughter emitted outward from the creature. It looked around the room, it was empty apart from the bodies. It made its way back to the surface. «Lord, the humans are finished. It seemed they preferred to die, rather than let us assimilate their power.»«Very good. Then we will shift our focus to the Dragons.» A hulking figure looked at the creatures around it. «Move out.»****«Am I being eaten by a SLIME??!!»A normal man woke up to find himself surrounded by the unconscious figures of his family and neighbors. The land around him was large and open, not a single structure in sight.«What’s… going on?»****Taylor, just an ordinary family man, woke up in a strange place. Dungeons dotted the land and Monsters ran rampant. After conquering his first Dungeon, he decides that the best way to protect his children is to build a strong community. With the help of his wife and some friends he meets along the way, he begins his conquest. Can he build a community strong enough to survive the incoming disasters? Can he unlock the secrets of the mysterious Mana? Join our hero as he uses his powerful defenses to protect those he cares about!****Notes from the author: For those who are not already aware, you can get more coins for your money by buying through PayPal instead of going through Google Play. Just a heads up for those who don’t know (You can access the Paypal purchase option through «Top-up» in your profile)*Not for children, this novel will have both lewd and gruesome moments as it progresses further into the story. If you see stars around the **chapter name** then it is an explicit chapter, don’t read if you don’t like sex xD Collapse

currently at: ch. 111not bad, but also nothing special.really easy to breeze through.inconsistencies here and there, but if you've enough novels, they won't really faze you.2.5/5give it a try.
Hold on, That's Skadi alter, isn't it?You sure you wanna use her?
This has been one of the worst novels I’ve ever read.Pros: good writing quality.Cons: Mc is brain dead. The Mc consistently gives items that would make him stronger to other people for no reason. He builds sort of like a tank/mage hybrid but doesn’t put any of his skill points into intelligence which would make his one offensive spell stronger.
Have you seen any MMORPG games that allow one person to clear all dungeons and raids? It does not matter if your level was the highest or your equipment was the best, you would still die, these games are based on teamwork and you get nowhere alone. While in the beginning this specialized build confused me too, it finally taken shape and I see what's going on, you would too if you continued reading. And your thoughts about not investing in intelligence is bullshit SpoilerHe clearly invested the same amount to both defense and intelligence, maybe you haven't read so much. What's the point investing in intelligence if you don't even know how to manipulate magic, he was clueless in the beginning, so he chose wisdom instead, which also increased his survival against magicians.. And giving equipment to your family and friends, wtf is wrong with that? It's not like his goal is to become a tyrannical overlord, but to protect them. And they have only so much equipment they can wear, no point in carrying it for showing off, better give them to others and build a strong community to advance further.
It's a novel. Plenty of novels feature MC's who can solo clear everything. In fact that's probably even more common. All the defense in the world doesn't mean squat if you can't hit back. His build was closer to a feeble bruiser than anything else. He was a poor tank and an ineffective attacker. He only carried on as well as he did because of his headstart, dumb-as-rocks opponents and plot armor. He otherwise wasted his potential.Did it work out later in the story? It doesn't matter. Any decent gamer would have dropped it by then.
But it's not a game, you can't use game logic in rl. For example, your character in game knows how to use magic, but do you? Your character knows martial arts, weapon control and etc, but have you actually wielded any kind of weapon in your life, excluding a kitchen knife xd. That also goes for the intent to kill, most of us, would not be able to kill even chickens even though we eat them often, of course if you starve for enough time, you would drop your morals into the gutter and would eat humans too. But in a sane and normal time you couldn't. He chose what gave him the best chance of survival, I mean, if he knew before hand what kind of effect the stats would give, he might of chose differently, but as there are no resets like in games, he had to stick to what he chose in the beginning.
A certain amount of game logic DOES apply irl. Longtime skilled gamers are noted to be much higher than the average in many tasks like resource and time management, and goal-oriented focus, efficiency and learning. And I do have some irl fighting experience. Whether it's irl or game combat his build still sucks. The only physical stats besides agi he needs is what's necessary to not be encombered while moving around and use light weapons against trash.Agi is necessary for dodging and moving fast to stay alive, with the side benefit of faster and more precise attacks. As far as increasing this stat for survival, it's the most important. But once that is satisfied and a minimal amount other physical stats taken care of, everything else should be dumped into Int.Typically Str and Sta are a pair just like magic power and mana are a pair. There's a reason why they are almost always separated. But in this novel Int is BOTH. And on top of that magic typically has more flexibility and higher potential growth. It can often even be used to supplant all other stats to some degree. It's been forever since I read this novel so I cant remember every detail of all stats, but I'm never going to forget how unbalanced the Int was. Games rarely do that, for good reason, and in fact I've witnessed many games patch out that kind of mistake after it becomes the meta strat to abuse. And what is better for survival than being able to dish out damage at range? It ain't a coincidence that the spear is humanity's most popular ancient melee weapon.
I agree. His build was trash. In this system INT grants far more per point than any other stat. The build is like one of those disasters you see when someone complains the game is shit but you look at their build and it's just this incomprehensible, ineffective mess.
Super wholesome author👍 so you can expect a good read.
Got to ch81. It starts off pretty decent but characters stupidity quickly begin to plague the story.Nonsense from how reality works just keeps building up, including blatant inconsistencies and not just monsters acting like primitive NPC's but humans, too.
If anyone is interested in joining the Aesir Productions Discord, I have a few pics of what I picture some of the characters looking like... Although I plan on having actual commissions done soon! Also a spot for fan art for those who enjoy sketching (:There's a map of the area MC and party are travelling in, and a few cool people hanging out as well.https://discord.gg/pP3ryQhxYmJoin up if you have any questions or just wanna chat about this novel or the one I'll be starting in April!
Don't drop before Ch. 29... Spoiler(Smth happen at the ending of Ch. 28)
Oww... This novel's title is Redo: Grimoire System in the Apocalypse in webnovel... No wonder I could find it in Ranobes...I'll be honest... Webnovel need to improve their Text to Speach Voice reader... It's just really bad... Sometimes they skip some parts that has numbers or even an entire paragraph... It's so bad... And that's the reason why I read on this website... Everything is clean so Voice reader works smoothly... The simplicity just makes it look more polished... Rather than a lot of features but buggy... That's just sad.
Use google assistant. Way better. Open google assistant and say "read my screen." Don't know about computer, but it is good way to listen to your novel when you're not home.
Just started reading this novel and already love it. I died laughing with how he woke zolis up. Also the system reminds me of 'Everyone else is a Returnee' unless im getting it mixed up with something else.
I'm glad that you're enjoying it can't say whether or not the systems are similar since I haven't read Returnee. I may check it out in the future
No updates friend? #panic#
I still update daily This novel will run for approximately 1200 chaps, more if I can't cram everything in comfortably. Whatever bot that Ranobes uses to steal books from WebNovel stopped working sometime in January, so my novel hasn't been updated here. I've noticed that almost all pirate sites stopped updating a lot of WN books at the same time.On WebNovel, I'm up to chapter 174 and plan to post 3 more today If you decide to look me up on WebNovel, the book name was changed to Redo: Grimoire System in the Apocalypse. Or you could just search my author name, Ullyr
Does anyone know any other site which has latest chapters.Webnovel only provides 3 fast pass everyday 🥲
Unfortunately I don'tWN has been cracking down a bit on reporting pirate sites, so a lot of them stopped updating.I did change the name of the novel, it is now Redo: Grimoire System in the Apocalypsetry googling it and see if anything comes up! Good luck with your search and thanks for reading!
Wow... Didn't know he's also active here... Author is super active responding on Webnovel... Super wholesome...
I appreciate it! It's a shame that they aren't updating this. I don't really like losing money, but a lot of readers come from here after catching up and read my daily releases or privilege chapters.Oh, I can probably post my Discord here come to think of it. I'm having some character art commissioned people may be interested in seeing
Actually... I take this back, looks like they started updating here again lmao. I stopped checking it a couple weeks ago
