I think the framework for this book is pretty solid, and the starting point is fitting: entering the NBA alongside James and Antonio. There have been a lot of other books set in the same era recently. While I can hardly claim mine is the best, it will definitely have its own unique style. But I’m here to tell you all that my approach this time is completely different. This book follows a "Dihua" path (where the protagonist is constantly being overestimated), features unconventional progression, and focuses on a long-form plot rather than an episodic face-slapping model. I’ve also intentionally tried to avoid the usual basketball novel clichés to keep from repeating myself. I reread it myself this afternoon, and aside from a few Chapters in the middle where the emotional beats didn’t quite land, I think the rest is quite interesting. The protagonist’s personality has been established, and his character will become even more distinct as the upcoming plot unfolds. The story will definitely get more exciting from here on out.
