This city stinks. Literally: the fumes rising from the surrounding marshes fill the air with a nauseating smell of decay and dampness. This does not seem to bother the locals, but there appear to be few outsiders in this town. You do notice, however, some groups of Wood Elves—apparently hunters. As for what they might be hunting in these marshes…
The islet on which the town stands is covered with wooden planks meant to pave the streets. However, the mud saturating the area seems to be winning the battle and dominates these attempts to maintain a solid ground. All the houses are made of wood, built using a technique that seems unique to this place. Large buttresses at the ends of the houses appear to be the key to their stability and, probably, to the exotic impression created by this architecture.

Apparently, the local shops are not particularly interesting, so this option is not available in this town.
If you want to explore the town a little, without a specific purpose, go to578(Memorize 584).
You may also leave the town at456.
